Did you know you can read any cards -- Tarot cards, Oracle cards, playing cards, yes, even Pokemon cards -- without ever reading a book?  You already have all the background knowledge you need, if you can just figure out how to use it!

That’s what this weekend retreat is all about: taking all your knowledge, interests, experience, and insight and learning how to put it all together intuitively in order to read your favorite cards for yourself, loved ones, and total strangers.  Come learn how to use the symbols and inherent energy of the cards to enhance your life on every level, how to use them as tools of divination, as inspirational muses, and as some of the most helpful problem-solving tools you’ll ever come across!

Even if you aren’t quite sure how to pronounce the word “tarot” yet, by the end of the weekend, you’ll be reading like a pro!


Spirit Healer (aka Ash,) has studied tarot and many other techniques of divination for over seventeen years. Around raising her 2 year old Minion, she teaches classes both in person and online on divination, creative writing, chakra healing (with amazing crystal singing bowls!), and the incredible vagina. She also just earned her MFA in Creative Writing, giving her license to totally make up words and screw with grammar.

9pm   Tarot Ritual
We’ll be setting our intentions for the weekend, purifying and blessing ourselves as well as our cards.

9:30pm   Fire Circle Tarot Social
Drums, songs and stories - a meet ‘n greet social that will include an informal discussion of the origin myths of the cards, setting up readings, purification of self and space, and any other topic that comes up before we pass out for the night. Dessert*

10am    Intuitive Tarot**
How to put down the freaking book without freaking out.  We’ll talk about how to access and recognize your intuition, common blockages, and other problems, including food, mood, environment, etc, and how to solve them.

11am   Numerology and the Tarot
How the numbers give us messages in individual cards as well as in the number of cards drawn, the number of each suite, and other ways to play with numbers to help the messages flow.

12pm  Lunch*                        

1pm     The Four Suites of the Minor Arcana
A close look at how the elements communicate through various decks, and ways to use your connection with the elements to tap into your intuitive nature.

2:30pm   OMG Court Cards and snack*
The Tarot Court Cards can be some of the most difficult cards to read, which is why we’re devoting an entire workshop just to them.  Prepare to get your drama on!

4pm     The Fool's Journey
The Major Arcana symbolize the spiritual journey, a journey we’re all going to take together for about two hours. 

6pm Dinner*     
         
7pm     Tarot Tells a Tale
How to craft, lay out, and interpret spreads; conversing with the cards; differences in techniques for reading yourself, your friends, and strangers.  This is where we put it all together!

9pm     Divination Party
Get a reading/give a reading as we celebrate the end of an intense yet glorious day! Dessert*

Sunday

A graduation of sorts, followed by a chance to ask any last questions in an informal setting.

General Info 
The site for this event, All World Acres, has hosted more than 80 different events over the past ten years. The site includes a community-built bathhouse with hot showers and flush toilets, a covered stage, garden circle, organic garden, cafe, and an air conditioned community center.

AWA is a not for profit sanctuary and campground that is supported by the community it serves. All of the work done to prepare and facilitate the events are done by volunteers. Their only compensation is the satisfaction of working in a family-like environment to better the community at large. We hope all visitors will want to "join the family". AWA is located at 4715 Bruton Rd. Plant City, Florida 33565. Admission is only permitted during scheduled events (no drop bys).

Admission Options

The Full Event
 The Retreat will begin on Friday at 3pm and run through Sunday at 2pm. The Full Event admission includes all workshops and activities and also includes camping for the entire Retreat. This amount is per person 11 years and older (10 years and under are free camping with adult). This is the most economical and practical option to enjoy all or most of the activities. Even if you don't want to camp this is the best option for activities on all 3 days. Register early (by November 13) in advance for only $30 per person (11 years and older). After November 13 online for $35 per person. At gate $40 per person. Register early for best price and to help volunteers plan event. RV spaces are very limited please call 813-748-071 to inquire.
